Republic Day celebrated enthusiastically at TCH

The celebration commenced by the arrival of the guest Hon .Wg.Cdr.U D Kekre, Chairman of TCH. He, along with our Director Mrs. Shailaja Kekre and Principal Mrs. Sheetal Kekre, was escorted to the dais by Parade Commanders Agnish Ray & Rohit Chavan.
Republic Day was celebrated with full pomp and enthusiasm at TCH premises.
The celebration continued by hoisting the tricolor by the Guest.
The next eye catching activity was a systematic, perfectly synced, harmonic Parade by TCH NCC Boys’ Troop. During the parade everyone remembered the Republic Day Parade of Rajpath New Delhi. The group portrayed a perfect example of teamwork. Followed by this, there was one more parade with the difference-Parade of Nursery class students who were dressed as Great Leaders. Undoubtedly they got a big round of applause.
Anisha Gugale & Nilay Daulatabadkar expressed their views about Importance Of Secularism & Transforming India respectively. The speeches made the gathering feel proud of their motherland.
The Senior (3-7) & Junior (Pre-Primary) choir groups filled the atmosphere with their melodious voices by singing patriotic songs. The students of Dance SAC paid tribute to Father of our Nation by a wonderful dance. Everyone was glued to their seats. The audience also enjoyed the colourful PT Drill of Jr. Kg & Sr. Kg students. There was a lot of praise for their efforts.
As per the tradition class X girls performed the sensational rope activity. It left the spectators mesmerized by the perfect harmony of the group and the vibrancy of the colors.
The rope activity was followed by the appreciation of the commendable hard work of the students done throughout the year in various games viz. basketball, Cricket, Athletics, Chess, Lawn Tennis etc.
The Chief Guest praised the entire event a lot. He guided the Students with his inspirational words.
The show was concluded by the Principal’s address and vote of thanks from the Vice Principal.
Everyone dispersed after having the sweets, carrying the cherishable moments with them.
